The Mission of The Denver Rotary Club Foundation ("Foundation" or "DRCF") is to participate actively in the diverse life of our community through the grants it makes each year. The Foundation's grants emphasize our belief in the promise and value of youth and education, affirming our commitment to the humanitarian goals of Rotary.
Our Club's Foundation provides opportunities for members of Rotary and our community to give the resources and support to our youth to realize their potential. Donations are used to fund a broad breath of Grants primarily focused on talented but underserved youth in the Denver community.
The DRCF’s two major fundraising events are the Branch Rickey Award banquet and the fall Peach Sale. The Branch Rickey Award banquet is held in November of each year and last year’s recipient was Torii Hunter of the Los Angeles Angels. The annual Peach Sale occurs in August each year and features fresh Colorado peaches. It is a great gift for friends and business associates. Watch for further information on the 2010 events this summer.
