“APRIL FOOLS IN FEBRUARY”

On short notice, past Club 31 president Bob Kapelke and his Burden of Spoof troupe of musical players will be presenting this Thursday’s program. The musical satires have been a regular April Fool tradition at the Club for the past several years. This year, having seen their collective shadow on Groundhog’s Day, the fools will be arriving six weeks early. As always, Queen City Jazz Band keyboard artist Hank Troy will tickle the ivories as the players tickle our funny bones. Featured lampoon targets will include Nobel Prize winner President Barack Obama,
best-selling book author Sarah Palin, the hapless Broncos, the Balloon Boy, Washington lawmakers, medical marijuana dispensaries, even Facebook, and of course Tiger.  You won’t want to miss all the tomfoolery!
